Fit Flop Fitness Shoes by Walkstar
Creating longer leaner more toned legs one step at a time. These shoes will take your everyday walk to a whole new level. Everyone knows that walking is the easiest form of exercise. Now, thanks to Fit Flops it is possible to burn more calories and improve muscle tone while walking.
Technology:
Fit Flops are different that other fitness shoes in that they are designed to create a bit of a microwobbleboard workout when you walk. This microwobbleboard effect increases the tension in the muscles, which causes the legs to work harder than they normally would. Most shoes are created to relax the muscles while walking, whereas fit flops are designed to keep the muscles engaged for a longer period of time.
Comfort:
Fit Flops are extremely comfortable to wear. Because of the soft tapered midsole, the shoes recreate the effect of walking barefoot on a soft cushion. The technology within these shoes also helps reduce stress on joints while keeping the leg muscles activated longer.
These shoes look and feel hard to the touch, however; when you put them on you can feel the difference. They are so comfortable you may never want to take them off. I honestly wish every pair of shoes I own had this technology.
Appearance:
Sports shoes generally look sporty and fit flops are no exception. They are not delicate dress shoes. While they are sandals, they do have a sporty edge about them. If they came in versions that are more stylish, I would wear them everywhere.
Walking Terrain:
Because these shoes have the basic design of a flip-flop, they are not suitable for all terrain. I find them perfect form meandering around the house, doing housework, walking or working in the yard, shopping or most other general everyday walking. These shoes are not suitable for hiking, rough or rocky terrain.
Facts:
While you can expect these shoes to increase and enhance muscle tone if you wear them daily and walk while wearing them. It would be silly to expect any shoe or piece of equipment to give miracle results. They will however enhance the time you spend walking by strengthening your core and toning your muscles.
My Personal Results:
While I am already fit, I am always looking for new ways to enhance my workouts and everyday activities. These shoes have taken normal everyday walking to an increased level. I have been wearing these shoes daily for about a month. Since wearing them,
I have noticed my legs becoming more toned which has resulted in minor inch loss.
Improved Posture:
The first thing I noticed when wearing Fit Flops is improved posture. When I put them on my abdominal muscles automatically tighten which causes me to stand taller and straighter. This automatic tightening of the abdominal muscles will eventually cause the core to become stronger.
I find this really impressive as I had noticed upon turning 40 holding the abdominal muscles in had become a chore that more times than not I ignored. When wearing these shoes you do not even have to think about pulling your abdominal muscles in it just automatically happens.
Important Notice:
If you are extremely sedentary, out of shape or have not worked out in a while you might want to limit the amount of time you wear fit flops at first and gradually wear them for longer periods of time. I personally suggest wearing them around the house a few hours at a time to get used to them before wearing them for a long walk.
Firmer Legs one Step at a Time:
These shoes really do take walking to a whole new level. They do increase muscle tone, which enhances the appearance of the leg. Improved posture strengthens the core while added comfort protects joints allowing for a more enjoyable walking experience.
